Want to live longer? Play Tennis (my favorite sport)

Exercise and not being sedentary can extend your life but did you know that playing tennis can extend your life almost 10 years?

Experts suggest the social elements are the key according to a recent study of nearly 8,600 people in Denmark. I am an avid tennis player and not surprised by the study’s results. I look forward to getting a great workout but most importantly meeting up with my friends. Strong social connections lead to a 50% increased chance of longevity, strengthens your immune system, helps you recover from disease faster and may lengthen your life. People who feel more connected to others have lower rates of anxiety and depression.

Try picking up a racquet to combine both the powerful effects of exercise and social connection for a longer, enjoyable life.
